Mobile Number Portabilty

I was on the Idea network previously. but didn't have good coverage and faced other issues as well. so now i've ported into BSNL. i got bsnl power now:P thought i'd post some info about the MNP cause my porting process was rather tricky.
1st you got to send 'PORT 999999999' to 1900(for those of you wondering, please do replace the 9's with your mobile number)
then you'll receive a UPC code, short hand fr Universal Product Code.
